| Bio |
Of a Surinam (South American) part Dutch-Indonesian descent, Heydee was raised in Queensland, Australia. Her parents were musicians who relocated to Australia from the Netherlands. She later travelled to the United States and Europe where she resided in Amsterdam and joined girl group Mahogany, following Crystal Clear. There she supported various international groups, with live performances on national tv shows, and recorded hooks for Sony Music Projects NL. During her time in the Netherlands she was also a representative for Universal Music Projects associating with artists such as Destiny's Child and Eve. Following four years in Holland she then relocated to London where she was nominated for the UK Urban Voice event, accompanying artists such as Estelle and Ms Dynamite. |

She continues to develop in the studio, taking control of the entire production process. Heydee says “I love joining forces in music, that way you take it to another level! But there are times to collaborate and times where you just got to do it on your own. So I did.” |

Confident and not afraid of simplicity, Heydee shares her world with her listeners. She states: “My heart is in my hand, and my hand is what creates the music”. Meanwhile, she has recorded hooks for Australian Idols nominee and is currently constructing new album material. |
